There’s so much going on at the annual Pre-St. Patrick’s Day Parade party, we couldn’t capture it all. But we did collect a bit of video that should put you in your own parade party mood.

First up—the musicians who kept the party rolling all night long: Karen Boyce McCollum, Luke Jardel, and Brian Boyce.

Next up—the McDade-Cara dancers, who performed toward the end of the night. (And who then went on to replenish their energy at the desserts table.)

What a swell party it was!

“This is the best party of the season,” said one of the attendees at this week’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade party at the studios of CBS3.

And it’s not just the tables groaning with seafood that make it look like an “Under the Sea” theme event.

There’s music, camaraderie, a chance to brush shoulders with the folks that bring us news, sports, weather, and traffic. The Philadelphia St. Patrick’s Day Parade is televised live on CBS and repeated again on St. Patrick’s Day on CBS3 and sister station, CW Philly.

You can see the fun and who was having it in our videos:

Supporters of the Philadelphia St. Patrick’s Day Parade got to mingle with their favorite on-air personalities from CBS3, which broadcasts the parade live every year, on Thursday, March 5, at the first big parade kick-off event.

This year’s parade honors Philadelphia’s fallen and injured police officers, and one, Richard Decoatsworth, who last year was shot and followed his assailant, radioing in his description, before he collapsed due to blood loss, was on hand to accept his parade sash.

We were there and took lots of pictures so you could feel like you were there too, but without the seafood buffet.
