Friday, July 30
Fiddler Alice Marie accompanies Shaun Durnin at Catherine Rooney’s, Trolley Square, 1616 Delaware Avenue in Wilmington, starting at 7 p.m.
It’s the great singer-guitarist Gerry Timlin at Dubliner on the Delaware, with all his songs and stories—and you can always count on Gerry for the best and funniest of stories. Dubliner on the Delaware is at 34 Main Street in New Hope, Bucks County. The show begins at 7 p.m.
Paul Wiese and C.J. Mills perform at Fred’s Tavern, the landmark pub in Stone Harbor, N.J., 314 96th Street, from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Catch their act in this lovely shore town. (Try the banana peanut butter ice cream at Springer’s for me before you go to the show. I haven’t been back to Stone Harbor at all this summer.)
Saturday, July 31
Jamison Celtic Rock appears at the Inlet, 101 East Walnut Street in North Wildwood. The show starts at 6 p.m. When is Jamison anything less than thoroughly entertaining?
The fabulous Jameson Sisters—singer-mandolin player Terry Kane and harpist Ellen Tepper—will appear at Church of the Holy Spirit, 2871 Barndt Road in Harleysville, starting at 7 p.m. The focus of the concert is “Summer Burns,” featuring the music of Robert Burns, traditional Scottish and Irish music. Gerry Timlin is back at Dubliner on the Delaware, again starting at 7 p.m.
Singer John Byrne is back with another Quarantunes concert live on Facebook, beginning at 7 p.m. You don’t have to get in the car and drive anywhere, and it’s free. All the details are here.
Thursday, August 5
The Black Taxi House Band will hold forth at the Black Taxi, 745-747 North 25th Street in the city, beginning at 6 p.m. Lively entertainment in one of Philly’s finest pubs. Tullamore D.E.W. will be doing a whiskey promotion.

Last week’s Volunteer Open House has been re-scheduled to Thursday, September 9.
Sadly, the superb Screaming Orphans aren’t going to able to make New Jersey shows, Iowa Irish Fest, Irishfest Lacrosse and the Milwaukee Irish Fest, because the United States has not lifted its travel ban.
Happily, our great supergroup RUNA will make the Milwaukee Irish Fest and a ton of others, including (locally) the Bethlehem Celtic Classic. Find out more about all of RUNA’s engagements here.
